We’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Supply Planner who’s passionate about synchronizing supply and demand, solving operational puzzles, and ensuring products flow smoothly from raw materials to finished goods. You’ll be a key link between planning, procurement, manufacturing, and logistics — driving efficiency, minimizing costs, and maximizing customer satisfaction.
What You’ll Do:
As a key member of our operations team, you’ll develop, execute, and adjust production plans for finished goods across multiple co-pack facilities. You’ll work cross-functionally with procurement, logistics, manufacturing, and inventory teams to ensure plans align with forecasted demand, available materials, and production capacity.
Production Planning & Scheduling
- Create and maintain efficient production plans across co-pack partners.
- Adjust schedules based on demand shifts, material availability, and manufacturing changes.
- Monitor capacity and line-time utilization to optimize output.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings through smarter scheduling.
Procurement & Vendor Management
- Issue purchase orders for packaging, ingredients, and co-packing services.
- Communicate delivery timelines and requirements to vendors and co-packers.
- Ensure timely supply of all materials to avoid production delays.
Invoice Processing
- Review and process invoices, assigning internal codes and resolving discrepancies.
- Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts for accurate financial tracking.
- Manage related transactions within the ERP system.
Inventory Management
- Coordinate material and product transfers with logistics and inventory teams.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels while preventing excess and stockouts.
- Monitor shelf life of raw and finished goods to maintain quality standards.
Reporting & Systems
- Manage the Advanced Supply Chain Planning module within the ERP system.
- Generate Excel-based reports to support data-driven procurement and planning decisions.
Job requirements
What You Bring:
- 3-5 years of experience in supply chain planning, preferably in a co-manufacturing or CPG environment.
- Strong understanding of production scheduling, inventory management, and procurement processes.
- Proficiency with ERP systems and Excel-based reporting tools.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
