For our office in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, we are looking for a:
PROJECT COORDINATOR - FUNDED PROGRAMS
The project coordinator is part of the sourcing team which aims to enhance resilient, sustainable and value-driven sourcing at origin through strong partnerships, impact programs and aligned supply chains. A key component of this approach is the implementation of funded programs that provide technical assistance to suppliers, helping to mitigate supply chain risks and strengthening supply chain- or landscape level resilience. The impact programs are an important tool to scale regenerative organic agriculture, aligning with Tradin’s sustainability strategy and Nature Positive Goals.
In this role you are responsible for the application, administration and compliance of funded programs to support sourcing, quality, social and environmental sustainability, and certification. You are in close contact with the project teams including Tradin colleagues, external parties and funders and support them in the application writing, contracting, planning and carrying out of activities, project communication, monitoring and evaluation and reporting according to specific guidelines and plan. Furthermore, to strengthen the funded program value creation model both internally and externally, this role places a specific focus on developing and maintaining a monitoring and evaluation (M&E) framework to track and communicate the impact of funded programs. You will report to the Manager Funded Programs.

Job requirements
What you’ll bring
Master’s degree in development economics/agriculture/M&E/sustainability or related fields
1-4 years’ work experience in a similar role, preferably with work on monitoring and evaluation
Excellent concept writing skills in English
Strong attention to details, analytical and conceptual skills
Project management skills, ability to motivate people and collect information
Highly motivated and self-directed, capable of multi-tasking and working under limited supervision
Able to interface directly with international, cross-functional teams
Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills
Interest in/affinity with organic production as a contributor to international development
Communication skills for liaising and communicating with vendors, external partners, development organizations, and internal departments in Dutch, German, French
Ability and experience to work in changing and diverse circumstances, including low-income countries
Interest in global sourcing of Agri raw materials, development projects
What we’re looking for
Funding & Program Development; Identify relevant funding opportunities and partners to finance Nature Positive Programs. Develop project proposals, including business cases, budgets, and implementation plans
Project Coordination; Liaison with project stakeholders (including funders, technical partners and Tradin colleagues). Coordinate funded programs, ensuring delivery on time, budget, and objectives. Monitor progress and manage risks or deviations.
Monitoring, Reporting & Compliance; Set up and maintain M&E frameworks to track impact and performance. Manage data collection, reporting, and contract administration in line with donor & internal impact reporting requirements.
Knowledge Management & Communication; Maintain an overview of all funded programs and pipeline. Support internal and external communication and knowledge sharing.
