For our office in the center of Amsterdam, The Netherlands, we are looking for a:
Supply Chain Manager EMEA
As our Supply Chain Manager EMEA, you are responsible for providing guidance and support to the supply chain team in the management and oversight of order execution and freight movement between locations.
This role also holds responsibility for all modes of freight (primarily truck and sea) and operations by means of directing the supply chain services team. This team is responsible for strategic souring on warehousing, freight and tolling activities. In short: the manager supply chain ensures a smooth and efficient contract execution serving as a vital support to our Trade department.

Your main responsibilities?
Lead and coach the team in achieving the most important objective: realize customer satisfaction by efficiently delivering products.
More specific:
- Manage the Supply Chain in the execution of all in and out bound freight to achieve on time in full deliveries towards Tradin’s customers
- Provide support to Sales for creating cost effective transportation options to support new and existing customer accounts
- Set up and maintain Standard Operations Procedures within the Supply Chain team in co-operation with other stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for internal optimization including to improve Tradin logistical cost performance.
- Communicate Tradin’s strategic and managerial decisions towards the supply chain team and translate this to operational processes
- Provide change management leadership to the team and for partner functions.
- Manage Supply Chain KPI reporting and take actions on continuous improvement
- Keep up to date with market developments on Supply Chain topics and translate the trends and changes to proposals for implementing within Tradin. Active participation in supply chain networks.
- Identify opportunities within the Supply Chain department to be developed and implemented via a project structure.
- Participate in companywide projects as a specialist on supply chain matters on behalf of Supply Chain EMEA
- Responsible for change management and successful implementation of project results within the Supply Chain department and towards stakeholders.
Job requirements
What we ask?
As our Supply Chain Manager you have a strong background in supply chain management, demonstrated by your previous assignments and market knowledge. In this leadership role, you will bring solid experience in team management as you lead and inspire our supply chain team. And you can collaborate effectively across departments, contributing to our organization's continued growth.
We expect from you:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related major required
- Knowledge and understanding of the organic food supply chain and its rules and regulations.
- Strong analytical ability and experience with cost analysis required.
- Knowledge and understanding of modern business ERP systems and demonstrated project management skills
- Experience with working in an international environment and multicultural teams
- Position requires excellent communication skills, adaptability, and the ability to develop effective relationships with internal and external customers.
- Decisiveness (prioritizing, make the right decision on the right moment) and negotiating skills
- Firm personality that can cope with our business dynamics and is persistent in internal and external discussions
- Ability to participate in or creating professional and business networks
